Donation Wish List
We are expanding our space and our enrollment in the upcoming year. We could really use your help and donations!
We accept in-kind donations of furniture, books, and equipment. Please contact us if you have something you think we could possibly use. Here are some things we are specifically looking for:
- Lumber for new space - to build classrooms and for Aikido studio
- Carpet - durable, industrial grade plus padding for 3500 sf
- Sound proofing material - for new space ceiling
- Paint - Low VOC paint for new space
- DeBourgh Lockers: high value (steel and welded) storage solutions for students as our school grows!
- Scholarship and financial aid support
- Instructional Equipment:
- Projection screen
- Projector with ceiling mount, speakers and hardwire laptop connection, PC program compatible, (2500 lumens preferred as well as zoom, remote, and automatic focus)
- Newer Apple Computers for students and faculty
- Apple products such as iPads for faculty
- Portable small speakers
- Variable Speed Drill
- Set of cutlery (knives, forks, spoons) for the kitchen
- Admin Office:
- Field Outings:
- Industrial, sturdy propane camp stove and large cook pots
- Quality, used clothing (rainproof coats and pants, backpacks, sleeping bags, sleeping or tent tarps, miscellaneous non-cotton clothing items, boots, etc.) to lend to students
- Furniture: specifically couches or love seats in good condition, small bookshelves (3'x 2'), sturdy adjustable desk chairs*
- Books for our library: We also are grateful for your donated credit slips from selling books at local used and new book vendors in town. Supporters also can purchase books at our library night at Village Books of which 20% of proceeds benefit Explorations Academy.
We can pick up some items within a limited radius, please call us to find out if we can pick-up.

*Serviceable items are happily accepted even if they don't look like much. We are adept at painting which in most cases is all something needs.
