Explorations Awarded One-Year VISTA Position

The Opportunity Council has awarded Explorations Academy a fully-paid VISTA position for one year.

The Resource Development Assistant for this position will shape our school’s future as we grow.  Daniel Kirkpatrick stated, "This position is an ideal platform for a mature, creative, and organized individual to deliver results and contribute as a team member in a hands-on human service environment."

The successful candidate will be able to work effectively with all stakeholders of our organization focusing on administrative support, capacity building and outreach.  Strong organizational skills, multitasking ability, and creativity are needed to work effectively in an environment where interruptions occur.  Excellent collaborative strengths will allow the successful candidate to work effectively and closely with other staff.   This position also requires the ability to initiate and complete tasks autonomously.  This role will build our organization’s capacity through administrative support, capacity building, and outreach efforts.
