Thailand Expedition Safely on their Way
The Thailand Expedition this year is Explorations Academy's 10th international trip. What will they be studying? With biologically diverse jungles, thickly forested mountains, pristine coastline, and a rich cultural and religious heritage, students will see a Thailand's exceptional natural and cultural beauty. They will experience urban centers of powerful 21st Century economic development to remote highlands that are home to cultures and religious traditions almost entirely cut off from the outside world. In these varied settings, students will discover abundant opportunities to investigate the beautiful culture, history, and wonders of Thailand.
Our group has safely arrived in Bangkok. It was well past midnight when reached their hotel, and due to exhaustion and jet lag, telling stories was out of the question. But so far things are going according to plan.
What goes through the minds of our young travelers for whom this may be their first international experience and for some who've already participated in one or more international expeditions?
