Fall’s Term End Celebration will take place on Thursday, December 12, at 6pm. For our new families, Term End is a semi-formal event where students get the opportunity to synthesize and share their learning from the term. Each cluster in the school prepares a 10-12 minute presentation based on the theme of their cluster. These presentations are often funny, usually very creative, and always informative. There will also be a pin ceremony, where faculty recognize and celebrate the hard work of each and every student. This event is open to the community, so we encourage you to invite your family, friends, and anyone else who might be interested in seeing what makes an EA education unique.

As always, we are planning a toothsome meal to go along with our hard work, and nothing suits winter better than a soup potluck. We welcome all varieties of soup and sides, including vegan, meaty, and gluten-free. Sign up below to bring a dish. Potluck starts at 5:30pm, event at 6, and we’ll wrap up by 8.

Thank you for all of the incredible work that you and your families have already done to raise money for our two international trips. As we finish up the term and send students off to their (much-deserved) winter break, we want to remind you that we still have a ways to go towards our fundraising goal, and the holiday season is the perfect time to gather pledges for our postcard program. Year after year, this has been one of our most effective fundraisers. Let’s keep the good momentum going through winter break and–again–thank you for the work you do to support all of our traveling students.
