Enrollment Process
There are a few steps to becoming a student at Explorations. We want to get to know you and make sure we are right for each other. If you want to know more about our program, please complete our inquiry form.
Here’s what you can expect as you move through our enrollment process:
Initial Inquiry: When your inquiry is received by the school, a faculty person will contact you. You can inquire online, via email, or just give us a call, (360)671-8085.
Parent Visit: A visit provides a great way to get to know a little bit more about Explorations Academy. You’ll meet with a member of our leadership team at so that we can learn more about your goals for education and offer you the chance to ask questions about our program.
Student Visit: The best way to learn about us is to come visit! Interested students are welcome to attend one of our Discovery Days. You’ll spend the day with us and experience what Explorations is about through project-based, hands-on learning opportunities. In addition, you might share in a community meal, hear from a panel of students, get to know our faculty and get familiar with our campus.
Application: If you think that Explorations Academy is the right fit, you or your student you will be provided with a link to complete the online application. Prospective students must also submit an official transcript (if in high school) or a report card (if in middle school) from their current school. EA Application.
Interview: When we receive your application we will contact you for an interview. It’s not scary, we just want to make sure you are a good fit for our community, and explain how our enrollment works with your parent(s)/guardian(s).
Decision and Enrollment: Following the interview, the Head of School will contact you within a week to ask any additional questions that the staff might have and/or to give you the decision.
