Here are some important updates and events to keep in mind for this week. First, don’t miss the Classroom and Field Excursion Highlights to stay informed about our students’ experiences. The upcoming Middle School Backpacking Trip and High School Excursion are approaching soon, so keep an eye on your emails from Dash and Marley, respectively. A Blisterama is happening on Saturday, April 29th. We need 2-4 students for a yard clean up in Bellingham to benefit International Travel. Contact Jennifer@explorationsacademy.org to participate. Friday, May 12th, marks our Spring Gala, “Mystery at the Terminal,” at Fairhaven Terminal from 7pm-9pm. Purchase tickets, volunteer, and share the event poster on social media! Open Enrollment for the 2023-2024 school year is underway, and our final Discovery Day is on May 5th. Show your appreciation for our teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week from May 1-5, and sign up for the Ski to Sea Blisterama on May 28th. Don’t miss the special film screening of Racially Charged this Sunday, April 16 at 4pm, presented by Liz Darrow for Healthy and Safe Neighborhoods. Lastly, the Outsiders Inn has been preparing a 2-hour production of Hamlet, with 14 showings at EA starting on April 18 – be sure to attend! Students and faculty can attend free.
