Here are some important updates and events to keep in mind for this week. First, don’t forget to sign up to contribute for Teacher Appreciation Week from May 1-5, and a big thank you to Satori for organizing this event! Our Spring Gala, “Mystery at the Terminal,” will take place on Friday, May 12th, from 7 pm to 9 pm, and we are thrilled to have 90% participation from our immediate school community in putting this event together – thank you! To support the gala, please share the event poster on social media, purchase tables or tickets, and ask local businesses to sponsor or donate items. We have also opened enrollment for the 2023-2024 school year, so encourage prospective students to join our final Discovery Day of the year on May 5th. If you know anyone who needs yard or garden cleanup for spring, please connect them with our Blisterama program, which helps fund international travel. Students must participate in at least two Blisteramas per year to be considered for international travel opportunities, and you can contact Angela at angela@explorationsacademy.org to set up a Blisterama. In addition, sign up for the Ski to Sea Blisterama on May 28th from 9 am to 3 pm, as we need 10-12 participants and participation is crucial for international travel selection. Don’t miss The Outsiders Inn’s 2-hour production of Hamlet – students and faculty can attend for free, with the best show date to attend being Wednesday, May 3. Lastly, stay tuned for the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 school calendars coming soon!
Enjoy this week’s Family Bulletin.
